Phoenix Construction has been employing and will continue in the efforts toward minimizing the environmental impact a building has on its surroundings and occupants, both initially AND over the life cycle of the building.
We strive for a combination of design and construction practices that notably reduce, and in some cases eliminate certain perceived negative impacts a building may have on the environment and occupants.
Wherever possible, Phoenix Construction tries to incorporate built-in design features and materials that enhance areas such as:
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Safeguard water and water efficiency
- Conservation of materials and resources
- Indoor environmental quality
- Materials with high recycle content
Collaborative actions are taken by all staff members in the integrated construction process beginning with Start-up continuing through to Post-Construction wrap up. We are looking to build high-performance buildings that do more than just ‘house’ a business…they actually improve the local and global community.
